SUITE FOR FLUTE ALONE

Flutes breathe the breath of life

from the musician who serves them.

They shine with the silvery glint

From the sun that hurled them into existence.

Mockingbirds hide in those silvery tubes

warbling lovely melodies and whistling

love calls to a romantic world.

The voice of flutes drifts soothingly into the waiting air,

while the ether offers no resistance to impede its perfect path.
